Two species and two subspecies shown above:
  • L. barbarus - (right above)bi-coloured pterostigma: green and brown: pruinescence on abdomen segment 10 only
  • L. virens - two subspecies :
  • L. virens virens - (centre above) bi-coloured pterostigma (variable): wide light suture at top of thorax:green brown and chocolate: pruinescence on abdomen segment 9 & 10: Males with blue eyes
  • L. virens vestalis - (left above) dark pterostigma : narrow and broken light suture: green and brown: pruinescence on abdominal segment 9 & 10: Males with blue eyes
